can u look at my post please
As I have said try and get to UAE to test, I am guessing that Saudi will be a nightmare!!
Also remember that ALL expats have to have mandatory HIV tests every 2 years and that HIV in the Middle East is very very low. Here in Oman we only have a few hundred cases in total and most of those are from people living in the interior.
As I keep saying I really think you will test negative. If there are too many implcations to testing in Saudi then get yourself to UAE. I know a couple of good testing centres (one which is anonymous) that you can go to.
This procrastination isn't going to get you anywhere, just go take the test and move on. It will very likely be negative.
I wish I could take you if you were living in my town. :-)
thank you ,, i dont know if she have hiv or not , i hope that shw dont ,, anyway thank you my friend for your information , finally maybe i need someone to come i take me to do the test, becouse i think i will never go alone
Yes ! It is the quoted numbers by experts. This is the probability for a male involved in unprotected sex with a known HIV+ partners. If you include the probability of the person being HIV+, the number goes even low. For example, if ratio of HIV+ people in total population of the country is 0.5%, the net probability comes out to be 2.5 in a million. Hope these numbers would give you some more peace of mind. Never the less, don't forget to get yourself tested after the given wondow period, because risk is there, no matter how small it is
I think the experts here say 1 in 2000 for full blwonb intercourse. what you think about this?
i did it when i was a child ,, this is good thing to me?
It is the removal of foreskin through a minor surgery in early childhood. It is mandatory in some of the religions and optional and mostly followed in the United States.
thank you ,, really you are helping me , but what you mean by circumcized ???
Wish you all the best,,, fingers crossed. Not everyone gets HIV from a single event of unprotected sex, with an infected partner. Through HIV transmission is not a game of numbers and probability, the probability does work. Don't get scared, get the test done because it is always better to know our status and with many odds in your favor, you will be fine.
thank you diver ,, now i feel very scared to do the test ,, god help me
As you were told, risk is there, However risk is not high. Time and ejaculation do not matter much.
There are other factors as well, like your partner might not be infected, men always have a lower probability of contacting infection as compared to women, moreover, circumcized males have even lower chances compared to uncircumcized males, due to the area of mucus membrane exposed. Therefore you have many odds in your favor.
Having said that, HIV transmission is not a game of probability and numbers. Sometime just one excposure is enough for the transmission to take place. Key point is, always play smart and stay safe. Consistent and correct use of condom is very important because failure of the protection turns our safe sex into unprotected sex all of a sudden, and this is the reason, you were advised for a test.
It's still a risk, but a low risk.Bottom line here is that you just need to test.
its only 5 sec ??? its make risk????
If it was vaginal sex then your risk is low because it is much harder for a man to contract Hiv from a woman than the other way around. The odds are on your side but you still need to test.
THANK YOU ,, BUT HOW MUCH AM ON RISK?
You had condom failure and therefore you need to test.At 58 days you can test with an Elisa antibody test and receive a very accurate result. You need to test now and again in 12 weeks.
