Once again, what do you feel your "exposure" was ? If the HIV test was at least 3 months after the "exposure", you're CONCLUSIVELY NEGATIVE.

actually Jean
i had the exposure to HIV.its around some 5 months.i got a negative
ELISA report but i have a very low level of lymphocyte count.
So do you think i should go for another HIV specific test.
or can i b sure that i am not infected with hiv.
Your CBC numbers are NOT relevent where HIV is concerned. You should NEVER attempt to diagnose the presence or absence of HIV based on ANY Blood Tests OTHER than an HIV-specific assay. AS you've been asked, what is the risk you're concerned over ?
-JC-
Lizzie, asked you what your risk was.
Why do you think you have HIV?
hello sir,
i got my general blood test and it was found
a low level of lymphocyte which was 14.6
and the normal value for lymphocyte was (25-35)).
i read in one article that in hiv infection the lymphocyte levels are decreased.
So do you think that i might be suffering from HIV infection ?
awaits your rply with thanks.
so. since we are not mind readers...you will have to expand on your post. there is no way we can assess your risk if we do not know if you were ever at risk.
