hiv symptoms 5-6 weeks after exposure??

by chelly0, Nov 21, 2008 09:55AM
I'm more or less wondering during what time frame symptoms of hiv would show up. my one unprotected sexual encounter was about 5.5 weeks ago and i am showing symptoms common to hiv (occasional night sweats, swollen glands, what looks to be oral thrush, and slight sore/dry throat) (however i also have had mono for about 4-5 weeks as well as a great deal of stress and anxiety). Would hiv symptoms show up 5-6 weeks after getting hiv or would symptoms typically show up sooner or later than i'm experiencing them?
