I was suffering from sore throat , left side chest pain , fever , abdominal pain...and little pain at my penish...but i have done sex...10 weeks ago...and got elisa test 1 day ago...and got negative result......is that possible that i am affected from hiv....and i have got a blood test report which says my eosinophils is 8....which have to be in between 1 to 6....please help me...i am worried..!!!
Your 3 month test will be conclusive.
3Months is conclusive as per the guidelines and that is what holds good for unprotected penetrative sex. All said n done 4-6 weeks elisa is a very good indicator of your status. If the partner was negative then no need to even test. 6 months is the norm in certain countries using outdated testing technology(these days very very rare and can safely ignore this norm).

After nine and a half weeks a negative HIV test means you are OK. Some people like to test out to 3 months for absolute certainty, but it is probably not required these days. You certainly do not need to test out to 6 months - that was the old recommendation, and it is out of date now.
In future use condoms for all sexual penetrations - they will protect you from HIV.
