hiv transmission from handshake

There were some yard workers working in the yard with branches and these strange trees that have huge thorns on them and did not wear work gloves or anything. I could see them and they must have cut their hands. One of the guys was just being nice and shook my 5 year old's hand when he walked outside. It freaked me out because he too has a cut on his hand. I did not see any blood and washed his hand right away but I cannot help the anxiety building right now and really need you to tell me if this is a possible scenario. If the guy had a new cut from the branches and shook my son's hand is there any possible way my son could get hiv in this scenario even remotely? I read all the previous hand shake posts that I could and did not see one similar.
