hiv

hi doctor i have a question
i took up a hiv test where the results were negative for both hiv 1 & 2. but the results of lymphocytes showed 16.50 %
its ref value were
30-50 %
does it mean i have hiv  ?
pls help

You know it has nothing to do with HIV you've tested conclusively negative. If you have a concern discuss it with your doctor. It has nothing to to with HIV.

yes it was taken 8 months after the exposure. but then why is that the lymphocytes level is less ? can it be due to any other infections apart from hiv ? thank you

if your test was 3 months post your last exposure...then your result was RELIABLE and CONCLUSIVE.
