the thing is i usually brushed my teeth before kissing. i am a hygiene freak.
so i just need to know does HIV transmit via saliva ?
Your on and off bleeding gums when you brush your teeth are irrelvant and do not increase the risk at all.
You have nothing to worry about. It is ZERO risk.
thanks for quick reply.
i forgot to mention that i might have bleeding gums when french kissing her.

does HIV transmit via saliva ?
hi zamzam, please clarify my questions that I have posted as well. Thank you for your kind words.
I do not give out odds when it comes to HIV the only thing that I will say in your favour is that it is harder to pass from female to male.
1 week after exposure is too early for ARS, this generally occurs if it is going to 2-4 weeks post exposure.
If you are going to have ARS symptoms then they all come at one and all go at once. That said though when it comes to HIV symptoms are totally irrelevant, it is only testing that matters.
You have had a risk and need to test, you can do so at 6 weeks for a very good indication and at 12/13 weeks for a conclusive result. In the meantime try and stay productively bust while you wait to test.
