dont confuse getting stuck with a push pin with getting stuck with a needle.
push pins are not hollow bore...meaning there is no hole in the end of it to trap blood INSIDE.
you had no risk !
Not for hiv because it becomes inactive and unable to infect as soon as it is exposed to air.I doubt he pricked himself first, but even if he did your still safe.
one main thing-if the blood of him was on pin.still no risk...
hiv is not transmitted through environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.
why?
once exposed to air, hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.
you had NO risk and do NOT need testing.
thank you sir,i have been refreshing this page many times.first of all thanks, but i want to ask you why there is no risk.can you expand some information.if he pricked it some seconds before he pricked me ,still any risk?
No risk for hiv transmission from a paper pin prick, that person is an idiot and you should have reported him to the headmaster. You have nothing to worry about, your safe.
