Worried sick, can't function

I'm a chronic worrier when it comes to HIV. In the past ten years i've been tested about five times. The last was in 2005 and it was negative. I have been with the same person since 2003, but now i'm really worried cause the beginning of march/end of february i noticed i had swollen lymph nodes. I have never had them before. There in my neck, sometimes i have pain in my underarms even though i can't tell if they are swollen there and i have one in my groin area. Sometimes i have body aches, but no fevers, no nausea. I just don't know. I haven't been with anyone else, no needles and i'm really worried. What would cause my lymph nodes to swell like this? And now it's 2 months and they haven't gone down. Sometimes they go down a little but they pop back up, they haven't completely gone away.

I went to the er a few weeks back and i just started taking antibotics. But the prescription is almost gone and they haven't gone away. They are still swollen and whenever i look online for answers it always brings up HIV, but after not being with anyone else and a negative test 2 years after i started my relationship i thought that i had nothing to worry about, but now i'm very worried. Could someone please advise. I'm scared to death. I can't eat, i can't sleep. i'm touching them all day long. i can't get off the internet. I'm stressing myself sick and i can't stop crying and every post and article makes me paranoid. I don't even know what a ARS rash looks like but five minutes ago i had convinced myself i had one.

someone advise.

People get sick all the time. Swollen lymph nodes are symptoms of more than just HIV. You can't live your life worrying about every slight pain or ache you have.

Sindy - Relax, sounds like you're pretty worked up over nothing. You say u were neg 2 years ago and have had the same partner for the past 4 years. Why don't you just ask them if there are indeed negative. I assume you know this persons lifestyle and should be able to ask such a question. It also sounds like you're suffering from extreme anxiety. How often are you poking at your nodes to see if they're still swollen? Maybe that's keeping them swollen. Sounds like you've talked to a Dr and they prescribed antibiotics. If you're still concerned (which you are ) get an HIV test. The negatvie results should calm your fears. Take care.
