how risky was my behavior?

I recently had an experience with a partner who tested negative for hiv 20 months ago.  However i do not know this persons current status since this person has had sex since then.  I do not know if it was protected or not.

I am very worried about whether or not I could have contracted HIV from this person.  We kissed and he briefly rubbed my clit...not inside by vagina.  I know ordinarily this is low risk, but he might have had a small cut on his finger.  It was not bleeding at the time.  Should I be worried.  I am worried and I intend to get tested, but I have anxiety that is difficult to manage.  I sometimes blow things out of proportion and it is difficult from me to know if I am doing so.  I would really appriciate a dr's opinion on how likely it would be for me to contract HIV from this behavior.  Maybe then I could get some sleep.

Blimey !!

Thats no risk ...If you are sure you stopped right there. I mean that you didn't have full fledged unprotected Sex after that foreplay.

Umm. I don't think you need to get a test ...But I would strongly recommend that you use protection henceforth with that guy as he had to get a HIV test @ some point of time in his life ...He mighta been induldged in a riskier sexual practice... Just be safe....hmm

hiv is a fragile virus. it requires very close contact to be transmitted. what you just described is very slim. relax, by all means get tested to put your mind at ease, but this is exceptionally low risk you've talking about here.
