knifes and blood

I'm just a bit curious about this and was ondering if it was in fact an exposure. I'll keep it short the knife pierce - cut my mates arm in a fraction of a second it cut me to she was bleeding - so was i... am i at risk of anything? is this something as its blood to blood contact? hope you can help...do i need testing

I understood what you wrote. My point was a mininal amount of blood is not going to transmit HIV. If you had cut her very deep and then cut yourself very deep where you needed stitches then there could be a potential risk.

omg -sorry i thought that reply was a bit scarcastic but its my fault i wrote it wrong an it doesnt make sense does it... i meant the knife - as it cut her then me in  fraction of a second am i at risk from the KNIFE sorry

Did both of you require stitches? Did the knife hit the aertery?
