lancet prick

Hi.i am a student nurse..i was doing diabetic accucheck when i got pricked by a lancet..and i pressed my hand to draw out the blood..i washed my hand with antiseptics..2 days after i did a rapid test which was negative..but im still worried..can i get infected?

A lancet creates a TINY, SUPERFICIAL opening in the skin to collect a capillary blood sample.  It's simply  NOT a sufficient enough portal of entry for the virus.
