ok nothing new i had the test done tuesday but they have not called me yet i am hoping thats a good sign because i am reserved about calling
Like lizzie lou said...some people commonly have repeated + Elisa HIV tests. But, a negative WB confirms that there is no HIV infection.
If his WB is negative (like he said it was prior), then he isn't infected.
Plus, you having negative tests continually is a pretty good indication that he is getting false positives. If you have been having unprotected sex with him for years, then most likely you would be POS by now if he were infected.
Try not to worry too much, and let us know how the WB turns out.
throwing out repeated false positive results on an antibody test has happened to other ppl...it's not the usual...but it has happened.
a negative western blot trumps an antibody test...
