Scared to test
My situation began last year January of 2011. I had unprotected Anal sex with 1 guy. He was about 25 years old and a gay male. He also has Bi polar and he did weed at the time I met him. I've asked him numerous times if he has gotten tested. He said he donates Plasma for cash and that they frequently test the plasma. Now I asked some of his friends that are close and one of his current exs. His Ex who was with him for about 6 months and also had unprotected sex with him Anally and as a bottom said he tested negative after having sex with this same person ( Thou I know HIV isn't transmitted every time). This relationship they had was after we had sex. Then another friend heard Rumors that hes Positive. Now When I heard that I started freaking out. I asked the person who told me this to give me the name of the person who told him this. Thou the guy did not give me his name so Idk if its true or not. I know I should get tested. But I'm really scared too. I know if I test now it will be 100% conclusive. I had Unprotected sex with this Individual Twice. I'm gay and hes gay as well.
I didnt have any symptoms after having sex with this person. Thou I did get sick 3 months afterwards (Severe Sore Throat, Fever, Joint pains , Vomiting and Diarrhea. (I did have sex with another person but its just a BJ and making out. He tried to insert in me but to my knowledge he didn't succeed).
I'm so worried i keep thinking about this night after night. What really got me thinking was after hearing stories of Gay guys sleeping with someone unprotected then finding out usually through friends that they person they were sleeping was actually Positive. They tested and well Turned out negative. One guy even had the other guy cum in him and still didnt get infected. The guy tested every 3 months to make sure.

It's you that you should be concerned about, not your friend. You need to know YOUR status.
So should I Believe the friend who says hes positive yet doesnt even give me a name to confirm the story?
