Thanks Leak. Is there's possibility to be infected with HIV if his saliva hits in my eyes?  Im not worried now with the saliva that hits in my arm but im thinking what if there is saliva hits in my eyes. I  consulted the nurse right after the incident and she asked me if  i was hit in my eyes, inside the nose of in my mouth which im not sure. I was scared at that time and i rushed to the bathroom right away to wash my hands and my face.

Is it true?

Hi, I have one friend confined at the hospital who is positive in HIV. Last night when I let him eat his  food, he vomit suddenly and it spread over my arms and little in my shirt. Im not aware if there were something in my face. I washed it right away with liquid soap available in the hospital and rubbed with alcohol like liquid (available in every hospital room). My skin doesn't have any cuts or wounds.

Is it risky? My concern was that his saliva was all over in my arm and a little in my shirt. I wasn't able to sleep last night due to thinking to this.

If the risk is very high. what should i do and how long it will take to detect the infection.

Please advice

3 months is conclusive.   further testing is not needed...you DONT have hiv.

until you are in a monogamous relationship where both of you have tested...ALWAYS use condoms for penetrative vaginal / anal intercourse.   sex lasts a few MINUTES...hiv lasts a LIFETIME ! ! ! ! !
