Please check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_bank
blood has a long shelf live in blood bank. HIV can be transmitted through blood transfusion. HIV virus does survive outside of body if the temp is low and kept in blood bank.
When it is infused into body, it does cause HIV infection.
The virus may be quickly killed out side of body when exposed to air, in situation as we bleed from wound.
Move on, you information is incorrect and you do not have any background in HIV to being give anyone assessments.
Generally those blood kept stored under minus 4 deg cel can stay for a period of 90 days for transfusion provided the temperature is maintained all the time.
Blood is not kept for months. Move on. You have no educational back ground in HIV and you have continued giving incorrect information to posters.
why HIV is transmitted through blood transfusion.
It is because the blood is not exposed to air.
the blood is kept in fridge for months, it is still infectious.
cold temp protect hiv.
air kills hiv
fridge is part of lab condition.
air kills the HIV.
If you withdraw blood and keep it in fridge without exposure to air, HIV is still active. This is how it is transmitted throught blood transfusion many years ago.
after exposure to air, HIV is quickly killed.
