HIV from nasal discharge!

Dear the Experts,

Could I get HIV infection from nasal discharge? I went to the restroom and there was a woman standing in front of the mirror, she was blowing her noses and when she was gone, i came to wash my hands and my fingers accidentally touched her nasal discharge left on the water faucet, then i touched my eyes with these fingers.

I did not notice much but when i got home, my anxiety began to control my mind. I am afraid that i was at risk of HIV infection since my eyes contacted the infected nasal discharge. Was i at risk?

Could HIV survive on the faucet for some seconds?

Help me! I am worried now

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot my friend.

One more question.

Could I catch HIV if someone accidentally sneeze on my eyes & mouth? Did the sputum or some blood in sputum infect me? This happened to me a couple of months ago and i recall this incident yesterday. I raised this question and talked with my classmates and some my friends said there was low risk ( if there was blood in sputum and my eyes contacted).

Thanks again, my friend!

Zero risk my friend.HIV is an extremely fragile virus outside the body and it becomes inactive once exposed to air almost instantly. The outer shell of the virus is very weak and therefore can't infect you at all.
