Please comment: Worrying question

Hi,
I have a question that few HIV information websites, the maximum window period is 6 months but in extremely cases it can extend upto 1 year. So what do you say that CDC gives wrong information or these websites information are wrong OR should a person wait for 1 year to get tested for most accurate result. I would rally appreciate for the answer.

No that is not what the CDC says at all. If you would have read, is say it is very rare for anyone to test postive after three months, not a year.
