They are not ARS symptoms and you have already been told more than once now that you had no risk--it's time to let this go.
Thank you for your answer jargon,
I have another question. How soon after HIV infection do lymph nodes swell? I Ask because today I discovered a swollen lymph node in my armpit area which is swollen but not painful. I find this odd because my armpit lymph nodes have never swollen in my life. It is been five days since the exposure. I know you will say that I had a no risk situation so thus my swollen lymph node is not due to HIV. But I need this answer for my own knowledge and anxiety relief. Sorry to take your time.
The nasal cavity, like the oral cavity, is not a route of transmission. You have nothing to worry about.
Sorry to bug, but I have been stressing out over this same situation for factors that I ommited in my original post:
1. I deepthroated the hiv+ man with his precum coverd penis hitting the back of my throat;
2. When I went to the restroom to wash out my mouth, some of the water went up my nose( like soda does when you laugh while drinking it)
The second point is the one i am most worries about Water with hiv infected precum went up my nasal cavity, it would appear. And I have not been able to find any other situations like this on the interner. right now I have a slightly stuffed nose. Please advise, I am really anxious at this point :/
Thank you so much for that teak. I really appreciate the work you do on this forum.
You were advised last month that oral sex is not a risk of HIV transmission.
