not sure what to think

hello everyone i just found this website this morning and have read a bunch of the messages. i haven't gone thru them all so i thought it would be quicker just to ask. since november i have had unprotected sex with a girl just about every other thursday until sometime in the middle of march. she says she has never had any signs of hiv infection like swollen limp glands or anything like that. she has had a couple of partners during this time which they say they are hiv neg. that is my situation. i need to know about a couple of possible symptoms and i am sorry if you all have answer these before i just dont have that much time to look.

what are the 3 most common symptoms of hiv infection when do they start and when the stop. is any one of them able to last considarbly longer than the others. i have had a test done that cam back negative and was very close to being two months after our last encounter.  i still have some strange pains in my body around the joints and just keep thinking about them. i have read over the internet since yesterday saying that symptoms can start almost 2 or 3 months after infection and can last for up to 6 or 7 weeks. i will read some more message on here hoping for an answer but until then if someone could help me that would be great.almost forgot i have also started having a sore throat since last friday and it feels like i have a lump in my throat. i do not think it is strepp throat. thank you.

you can click on teaks name and view his profile.

if someone shows symptoms of ars...they come at once...not one thing one week and another thing the next week.

thank you for your answers. so it would be very very rare to have someone get a symptom 2 months after they are infected? i was just wondering because of my sore throat about 8 weeks after. i think i found another message that says that you won't get one symptom for example at week 4 and have it end two weeks later and have another one start. this message board has a lot of good information just not sure how reliable it is. teak how do you know so much are you a doctor or? thank you.

ARS symptoms if one has them at all come on 2-4 weeks post infection at last 1-2 weeks. HIV has no specific symptoms. You can test 3 months post exposure and obtain a conclusive test result.
