now vomitting??

I submitted a post 3 and a half weeks ago regarding an encounter I had with a pre-op male-female transexual. I had insertive anal with a condom and unprotected insertive oral. You guys advised me that my exposure was no risk and that I shouldn't panic.

Yesterday three and a half weeks ppost exposure, I got stomach cramps and vomitted twice during the night. I had no noticeable fever, enlarged lymph nodes, rash, or any other symptoms. I had a sleepless night worrying about ARS.. I know you guys said my expposure was zero risk but surely there is a small risk attached to oral. Dr Bob on thebody website says that the risk definately isn't zero. Anyway, my vomitting caused me to stress out heaps and I was hoping for some support from you guys.

Have a nice day!!

So using thin condoms won't matter if the condom doesn't break. Would durex fetherlite ones be just as effective at stopping hiv?

Condoms don't get little holes in them.

Ok. I was stressed out buy my stomach illness so I thought I would go and get tested. I went to the sexual health clinic to get tested even though I am only 4 weeks post exposure. The nurse who gave me the form for the blood test made my anxiety worse by stating that they recommended extra thick condoms for anal sex. I was wearing a durex featherlite ones. She implied that condoms could get small holes in them. I checked it htoroughly and it seemed ok at visual inspection. Any comments??

I had moved on but my vomitting bought it all back. Most people also seem t assess oral as low-medium risk - such as Doctor Bob on thebody.

I reckon I might be one of the unlucky ones!!

No, it means you need to seek professional help as to why you can't move on.

Hi Teak

I realise the good Doctors and yourself assessed my situation as being zero risk but surely the vomitting in combination with a very slight risk of transmission from oral does create some concern that I may be seroconverting??
