please help my son

yesterday i take my son to the lab for a blood test
everything was new but when the doctor  he put cotton wool
on the spot where the blood draw was taken  he waited for maybe a half min
then he came again and he changed the cotton wool he put onother one for him and then he put a plaster on it
but im very afraid from the cotton wool
what if one of these cotton wool  he used was some blood on it from other people
by mistake
because my son had an open hole from the needle (blood draw)
i khnow you will said that im idiot for thinking something like that
but thats cz i love my son and im very afraid
my wife said to me you are crazy to think like that

You are not crazy but I think you may have some OCD. That doesn't sound like rational thinking.

hiv is not transmitted from environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.  once exposed to air...hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.

this was NOT a risk for infection.
