pls have the time to answer me.. thank you!!

i am a bisexual and had sex about a week with 3 different men.. two of them i did not use condom and one i did.. after which i watched documentaries about hiv/aids and i was afraid.. i asked the three of them and they told me they are 200% sure safe because they do have annual check-up.. i want to have myself checked to be sure but all of the write-ups im reading about hiv/aids said that it should be 3 months after the last contact.. im afraid because im have colds now and i felt like i have fever but when i checked it with a thermometer its normal.. im getting paranoid.. is it ok if i have myself checked for hiv test now? i am the receiver of the activity.. if ever i go on hiv1/hiv2 test, whatever the result would it be conclusive??

Hey. Can you ask the men you had sex with to go for HIV tests? Perhaps a rapid test where you get the results instantly. If they are negative and haven't had unprotected sex in the last 3 months with anyone except you, well that would give you an indication of your status. (provided you were HIV-negative prior to the sexual incidents you've described above).

Otherwise, if they refuse to go for a test, there are a variety of early HIV testing methods. For example the PCR DNA test (which can be done 12 days after your exposure). In addition to the 4th generation DUO antibody/antigen test which can be taken four weeks after exposure and which is considered CONCLUSIVE by many HIV experts including Dr. Sean Cummings. That said, worldwide testing guidelines still recommend a confirmatory test at 12weeks and beyond. That said many HIV experts agree that with a 3rd generation antibody test, 99.9 per cent of HIV positive people will indeed test positive at the 6 week Mark. So you have a lot of options.

These earlier tests will definitely give you a lot of confidence and are a great indicator of your status. Then take a confirmatory test at 3 months.
