I had unprotected sex w a 19yr old latina girl. It wasnt my initial intention but i trusted her since she asked me if i was clean prior to insertion. It made me think she cared about her health, plus she gave me no indication that she was a ho during our conversations that lasted about a month. 2weeks after the encounter, i  had a very persistent dry cough. About 3wks after the onset of the cough I had shortness of breath which lasted about a week and a half. I had no high grade fever(99.5F), but i felt feverish and tired. No muscle aches/headaches, but I felt pain on particular spot on my back whenever I leaned over. I had about 3-4 epidsodes of night sweats which only seemed to cover my neck and head.. i wasnt drenched in sweat, nor did i have to change sheets. I also seemed to sweat more than usual during the daytime naps. No rash, but felt tenderness on the 2 sides of my neck.It basically felt raised/swollen. I developed a runny nose about 2 months after the encounter,other symptoms improved but the cough last for a total of 4-5 months. i was very freaked out and I confronted the latina girl, she claimed she had gotten tested for STD's and HIV about 2 months before she met me. I believed her at that moment. However, i recently got to find out that she lies a lot..i mean alot. And its making me believe she never even got tested and prolly a ho too. I know i should get tested, but im so scared to.I have a g/f and I cheated on her w the latina. Just dont want my g/f to die cos of my stupidity. my g/f didnt show any of these symptoms. please tell me if these symptoms are consistent w ARS?

whatever you told are not part of ARS.

and Female to male transmission rate is very less. 1 in 2000.
hence you have all the odds in your favor.

get a standard antibody test by 6th week. you can expect a negative result

try searching for "SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY" on any search engine and you would find all your symptoms there !
