poked vs injected

Hi Friends,

If someone who is infected with HIV uses a syringe and i get poked (not injected) by that syringe immediately say few seconds after him on my finger or feet , am i at risk or not?

and for the purpose of transmission is it same as getting poked by a sewing pin or non hollow core needle?

ok i understood what u mean to say...thanks:)

but one last question getting poked by hollow core hypodermic syringe even seconds after it is  used by hiv positive is also no risk ??

i mean does getting poked after seconds  change the risk scenario?

Getting poked is not the same as getting injected. The only way you get anything out of a hypodermic needle is to inject. You didn't inject anything into your blood stream. No risk.
