pregnancy and heb vaccination false/positive results

My daughter just found out she is 3 months preagnant. She had a HIV test in July for a job related clearance and of course it was all negative.  She completed her  2ndHeb B shot 1 month ago.  After seeing her OBGYN and having a blood test.  Her OBGYN says she could have HIV because of her anti-bodies levels abnormalities?  She is freaking out.  Her and her husband have been together for 2 years.  And were tog. 6 years prior while attending College.  Both their first sexual encounters.  They are both convienced that the Heb shots must be a culprit in this lab results.  So the Dr. wants to order an expensive HIV test.  I have done some research on the web and found that the tests could be a false/negative due to the Heb shot.  Can you give me some more help or advise on this?  And of course we want to the the best thing for the baby and my daughter.  Thank-you

The test result could be false but I don't know if the Hep B vaccine would have affected that.  Good luck with further testing.  It seems highly unlikely that she is HIV+.

The most solid solution is to have a repeat test.  I have not read that HBV vaccination makes HIV test results ambiguous.

Best.
