How accurate

How accurate would a HIV test be if taken exactly 5 weeks and 2 days after having unprotected sex (vaginal)

The only true accurate test is one that is taken at 3 months and gives you a conclusive result.

I thought a doctor on here said that 6 weeks is 98-99% acc.

actually that is pretty accurate.  50% of all people will test positive within 2-4 weeks and after 6 weeks 90% of people will test positive if they are. I am quoting the dr. on this

it's not accurate at all. try 3 months then take a test.
