hello there.
I am 24 year old male who has only had un protected sex with my current girlfriend and my ex. My current girlfriend has also only had sex unprotected 1 other time which was a one night stand. So i appreicite my risk of infection of HIV is quite low. I did not lose my virginity until I was 23. So again thats not a lot of time.
Ive been experience the following symptoms some of which Ive had for a number of years. I have recurring mouth ulcers (long term but has got worse in the last year). I am quite prone to getting colds, sore throats. I get tingling in my hands and feet and sometimes Face. aching bones etc etc.
The reason I am quite worried is because Ive been unwell for the last 3 weeks. with a wierd tight chest (which is clear when the doc listens to it) general roughness and disorientation, weakness and aching limbs, sore throat, and a cold which doesnt seem to wanna shift. just wondering what the likley hood is that I could have HIV? Ive had 2 doses of antibiotics but its not shifted as of yet.
also would a standard blood test that you have at a docs testing for blood sugar, blood count, inflamatary and thyriod pick up hiv or anything serious ?

thanks man :) you seem to be helpful around these parts. Thanks for taking the time to read my problem. Im gonna try and adjust various facors of my lifestyle including my oral hygine and my diet and nutriants to try and strengthen my immune system.
me and my girlfriend have also got genital warts , so this is another reason why I was a little worried, but after reading up on these aswell they seem quite a common occourence for people.
Hopefully I will start to mend soon.

well to be fair the only reason i am concered about it is because I was looking up my symptoms on the net to see what the posibilities were and It came up with Hiv. It wouldnt have really crossed my mind otherwise. Now im working my self up with worry.

I think you're okay, you don't have much to worry about however if you suspect HIV it's essential to get tested since that'll ease your mind up
NO, only an HIV test can detect the virus.
Symptoms are not the indicator of HIV, don't guess HIV with your symptoms, all you gotta do is, walk up to the nearest testing center and get a 20 mins rapid test for yourself as well as your girl and put this behind
