quick hiv risk?

Hello so today at work I got cut by a box cutter blade that my coworker was cut with a few seconds before I was cut.. is there a risk for hiv? I did bleed and so did he....

Buddy, you need to get working on your anxiety, as it is clearly over the top.

You're fine.  You don't need to test.

No it was not a significant amount of blood..and my cut was small..

Well, if there was a significant amount of blood, and your injury was also significant, then there would be a minimal risk.  A "blood to blood" scenario is not something many people ever have to worry about, so I wouldn't be overly concerned if I were you.

Why not talk to your co-worker, and ask him his status?  Chances are he isn't infected anyway.  

Testing for this would be your call...I personally wouldn't recommend it.
