you have posted your question twice, you had no risk and whatever is wrong with your wife is not from you. ohl would not appear in a few weeks. get on with life
Risk of HIV with the incident you mentioned, is too negligible to suggest any kind of testing. Your 7 week test is enough for reassurance and it will not change whenever you decide to repeat. Move on
Though chances of HIV are almost non-existent, however I would suggest you to get yourself tested for other curable STD's, transmittable via unprotected oral sex.
i was starting to sort my head out after been tested but about 2-3 weeks after the exposure i performed cunnilingus on my wife and about 6weeks after the exposure i noticed she had this white line thing running down either side of her tongue, also when masterbating her she complained it was painfull and i noticed a small white pimple on her clitoris now i am pretrieife
Hi there,
For your incident, you need NOT test in the begining. So a 7 weeks test is a good indication that you are not infected.
thank you for your quick response i have been told by the nurse at the hospital to get on with my life i havent got hiv, and initially by the guy at the testing centre, but then when i called him back up just to make sure i was clear he started backpedalling with what he initialy said and started stating the 3month window period and said he thought i said 11 weeks instead of 7 which must have been rubbish as i also gave him the date of exposure which was obviously not 11 weeks i had sang another branch of vid testing centre so i am wondering if they may have called him and told him not to tell people they are ok before the window period is up incase they turn out positive later
Hi there,
Basing from this account given, you are not in any risk for HIV infection.
Further testing for this incident itself is not required.
Your 7 weeks after exposure test resuly is very encouraging. If you are still worried about the contact that you had, you can conduct a test at 12 weeks from exposure to allay your fears. The result is not going to change.
However, I would suggest testing for STIs, including HIV, for all sexually active people yearly.
