sex with csw using condom, got herpes, hiv risk

i had sex with a csw, got herpes, and now concerned about hiv. sex was entirely protected with a condom. first and only time not that it matters.

herpes is confirmed visibly, all classic signs, testing underway, started acyclovir

what is the risk of hiv?

herpes background that is probably not pertinent, but sharing

1. herpes started with thighs feeling hot days 7+ on off
2. no itchiness in groin/genital area, but loss of appetite
3. day 10 visited doctor based out of anxiety, but no visible systems, but doctor saw nothing remarkably or wrong, and said hsv/hiv were both unlikely and to relax
3. day 11 inside groin where leg meets torso small red open sores inside a stretch mark, general itchiness over body
4. day 12 visited doctor to show sores in groin, said it's not herpes because it doesn't happen there especially first time, is just a rash or dermititis that is unrelated and prescribed steroidal cream
5. day 13 noticed small raised fluid filled bubbles on scrotum and started having nerve tingling shooting sensation to feet/toes/legs, returned to doctor and received prescription
6. day 13 returned to doctor, agreed bubbles were likely herpes, running tests, prescribed meds
7. day 13 dry mouth

... and so on

You had protected sex and didn't have a risk of contracting HIV.

a follow on to the hiv general risk concern...

now that i'm taking the meds for hsv, will that alter hiv pcr dna testing results and increase chance of false negative?

i will get tested for hiv using pcr test since past 14 days. still would like some input

i added dry mouth in the symptoms for hsv because i haven't read that was a symptom, and this was before taking any meds
