snorting cocaine

one day i shared a rolled bank note to snort cocaine. the following day i used the same bank note on my own to snort again.  my nose bled a bit on the note. If there was dried HIV blood from the day before on the note and my fresh blood got on the same part and it touches the inside of my nose while snorting it up...can this transmit HIV?. Can the virus be reactivated when wet ?

Is sharing Cocaine NO RISK at all even if there was blood , Fresh/ Not fresh?

Yes, even with cuts in your nose it's still not a possibility.

ok. quick reply thanks. Also I'm guessing even with a cut up my nose which I'm sure i must of had, and sharing it with others and even if fresh blood got onto it before i snorted it...still no risk?.

i thought i understood a lot about HIV but now I'm not so sure. Im also aware that cocaine is stupid.  I had a week from hell then went for a proper binge on the weekend. no excuses i know.  Cheers peeps.

Absolutely not. No risk whatsoever ((with or without blood - fresh or old blood)).

Risks are:
1) having unprotected vaginal or anal sex, OR
2) sharing intravenous drug equipment with another intravenous drug user.

If you don't do either of those things, you will never have to worry about HIV.  Anything else you can think of is NOT a risk.
