some knowledge needed

hi all i am asking this in this forum because i am worried about blood...if i got wet or dry blood on my hands and i went and washed my hands normally...(ie) soap and hot water but i didnt scrub or make sure the soap and water got under my fingernails i just focused on the surface of my hands...would you be worried about anything being left underneath the fingernails??? thanx in advance

thank you just one more q...if there was a rash on your skin with little open sores(from washing too much. ironic huh) it would be the same result correct??? just for peace of mind :) thankz again

HIV can be spread through DIRECT contact with infected blood:

Through injected drugs
In a health-care setting
Through a blood transfusion (Today, because of blood screening the risk of acquiring HIV from such transfusions is extremely small).
