is oral thrush very common as a early sypmtom of hiv infection? or it usually happens after months or years of infection?does anyone know what else cause oral thrush?

symptoms are not good indication..though i myself is troubled by the symptoms i have...try ur best to ignore them..get urself tested to be at peace..cheers..

yes,i have read that stress/anxiety could cause skin reactions and many other symptoms similar to those in hiv but not sure if thrush is one of them

Many of the symptoms of HIV that you read about on the Internet are those of a much later stage of the virus when the immune system has been severely destroyed.  (thrush being one of them)  Many people experience no symptoms in the early stages of infection.  The irony about HIV is that the people who have multiple risky exposures, don't think twice about it, and experience no symptoms are the ones who usually go on to test positive.  It is the worried wells like us on this forum who usually have one low risk encounter and get so stressed about it that our body starts to do strange things that go on to be negative.

i also have a neg test but its only a 4 week i am hoping this all stress releated i will visit a doc to see if is candidasis or it just me, i am sure yours its defenitely stress because you already have a 3 month neg test,

im not a doc but i think severe stress can cause a weakened immune system... u have oral canidad and i have vaginal.. and i had neg 3 month rapid test so im hoping it is just stress

i beilve months or years... but can definitly occur in hiv neg ppl
