i will have again the test after 2 weeks, hope to not change
There are no tests marketed or sold to give a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months post exposure.
why the expert doctor says that an antibody test taken after 8 weeks is considered conclusive?? this means that in 4 weeks the result will not get changed, will be the same like 8 weeks
What would someone else's test results have to do with you?
yes is true, i know you have a lot of experience on this forum and want to ask you if you have seen at least one case that at 9 week a negative result turn into positive result?
Your test at 3 months post exposure will be conclusive.
today i got retest for hiv i have 9 week and 4 days now since the last unprotected vaginal sex. I got a negative result and the method used of laborator is CLIA, is this method good, i never heard about this method.
I want to ask is my result reliable at 9 weeks and 4 days? It could be changed in the next 2 weeks and 3 days? I'm still stress and worried about the next 2 weeks.
so this means that my result could be wrong, i mean the antigen p24 level drops and thats why is undetectable? if i will have an antibodies test could be positive now??
Antigen tests are for a possible exposure is good after the first week to the end of the 3rd week.
An antigen test at 28 days is very good indication.
so how accurate is my result???
No we are not going to check on the link. If you have questions about the test or test done follow up with the testing agency. It has nothing to do with this forum.
