Hiv positive co-worker and Hypochondriac

Hello.. I recently found out that my co-worker is HIv positive i work in a repair shop where we fix watches and eyeglasses etc.. I had a really bad scare in my past (had a false positive hiv test) so I am already paranoid about hiv.. My question is.. how careful do I have to be when using the tools for repairs.. I am very nervoous and chew my cuticals and sometimes have little cuts.. I noticed my co-worked does as well.. I am very upset and may have to qiut my job.. I know that sounds ignorant but I don't knwo if I will be able to live with a risk of going through anything like what has happened to me in the past... Does anyone know the chances of catching hiv between small cuts on the fingertips?  I can't believe this is all happeneing to me.. My mind won't let this go... Thanks you so much to anyone who can help.... And happy Halloween I'm stuffing my face..

Does your workplace have an employee's assistance program - if so, you probably can receive counseling through it.

Unless you decide to have unprotected anal sex with your co worker then you'll never have a risk.

Seek professional help with your mental issues.
