unprotected oral sex and kissing

I am asking this question  for  my friend that does not  speak english. he had unprotectd oral sex with a girl unknown status even though she told him  that she was a bisexual free of stds. unprotected oral  for a minute or 2 and open mouth kissing for a few seconds. 12 days goes by with any problem.
suddently ,he works at the mall and was involved in a fight with a burglar, he fell on the  floor where he sustained  left ankle injury  where it was swollen. 3 days later, he had a slight fever. the following day ,his left groin became swollen and left ankle as well. he develop fever and slight sore throat . he also was  taken ibuprofen and he drank liquor that day. 3 doctors told him that it was normal to have fever after and injury. my friend was worry of contracting  hiv and stds from the event, because a slight sore thoat and swollen gland in the left  side , a small  and under his left arm.

finally, the doctor told him that if it was an infection ,the groin  glands would have been swolen in both sides area, not  in one area. What do you?

in conclusion, the doctors also thought that was an hernia that he got from the fight. they prescribed him pain killer and medicine for inflamation and every thing was fine .
base on this , do you it was an stds
