unprotected vaginal sex

sir,
sorry for my bad english. i had unprotected vaginal sex with a lady this july. 3 times a day but not ejaculated inside.I asked about her status she told me that she was ok. but after 2 weeks i had some rashes in my face and neck after taking a shave from a hair cutting saloon it went away by taking some med. i am afraid and done the p24 test 3-4 weeks after the relation and the result come negative. now i feel swollen lymps with abdominal pain while taking a big breath. my question is
should this may be symptoms of hiv?
how the rash looks like?
where the lymp nodes occur and how big it would be should it be painful?
does the hiv symptoms come alone ie fever acompanying with other symptoms or a mix of all?
sir please gave me an answer i am very much worried pleaseee...

You will need to test at 6 weeks then at 3 months for a conclusive
Symptoms are never a valid indicator for an HIV infection
Sounds as if your anxiety may be up and causing you to freak out goodluck

but my doctor says that 3 week is a good time to know the presence of virus..

No your anxiety is causing these attacks not HIV

Unprotected vaginal sex carries a risk of approx. 1 infection in 2000 exposures for males (if and only if the partner has HIV).Very, very few heterosexuals have HIV that are not a.)occasional MSM b.) injection drug user or c.) regular sexual partner of one of the above. If your partner is not infected your chances are 0%.

thanks for the replys..
one more question i had noticed from the site that hiv virus cannot stay in open air for a long time .....
then how will the virus enter to the men with unprotected vaginal non ejaculted sex..
if so wat will be the risk factor...

That is probably one good reason why HIV only transmits during penetration - anything sexual that does not result in penetration is safe. I'm no expert on this but I read a lot and from what I've seen HIV has a very difficult time transmitting from person to person. It has an even more difficult time (10x less compared to anal) when the transmission route is vaginal, and yet even more so when passing from female to male (roughly twice as difficult) - probably partly for the reasons you bring up and partly from other factors that make it inefficient.

Your risk: You don't say much about your partner but a typical hetero non drug using female is probably 1/1000 and male to female transmission is typically quoted as 1/2000 per exposure. Sounds like your odds are in the ball park of 3/1,000,000 or one in 300,000.

Extremely low - with that said why not get tested for certainty and psychological comfort, and why not wear condoms? they really do alleviate a ton of anxiety.

ANxiety is your problem  not HIV remember test at 84 to 90 days for a conclusive result

Your 30 day test is pretty close to being conclusive, ESPECIALLY for someone with your low risk level. If I were you at this point I would take a deep breath, thank God I don't have HIV, and resolve to be consistent in using condoms in the future.

ARS rash - so I've been told - consists of tiny red spots all over the chest, belly, etc. that do not itch or hurt. It doesn't come and go and is almost always accompanied by a (high)fever as well as other symptoms. Symptoms come and go together... but I really don't think ARS is something you need to worry about.

Assuming your lady friend doesn't inject heroin and doesn't have sex with bisexual MSMs, your risk is almost astronomically low. Your 30 day test is somewhere in the range of 95-99% accurate... couple that with your already low risk from unprotected vaginal exposure and I wouldn't even bother getting tested again.

The only conclusive test is 3 months post exposure.

By my calculations, the negative test results at 4 weeks makes his odds of having HIV less than 1/500000, given his exposure. Which I believe is over 5x smaller than the odds of getting killed by lightning.

So bottom line is expect your 3 month to be negative.

I just read in the expert forum 5 minutes ago where Dr. Handsfeld says that a standard antibody test at 6 weeks is conclusive and the 3 month recommendation is outdated.

Until the guidelines are changed 3 months is still conclusive
