QUESTION TO DEAR NURSEGIRL

Dear Nursegirl ,
I'm a 30 yrs' male . I had an unprotected vegina sex with a girl I just met at a bar who I don't know her HIV condition.
I was so stupid that drink some achol and engage the entercourse without a condom .
After that I'm very nervious , I read a lot in your forum and got lots help here . Luckly , I got a Negative result after 100 days .
But I found many people also check their CD4 count and CD4/CD8 count to resure the result . I did some test too , baddly the result is : CD4 count 380-390 , CD4/CD8 0.60 .
As I said that I read a lot from you and in the " HIV:The Facts " you said that " f a person does not test POS for HIV 3 months after an exposure, then they did not contract HIV.  The ONLY exception to this is people who have literally NO immune system who may take longer to produce antibodies." and also you said " such as....a person taking anti-rejection meds post an organ transplant, a person on aggressive chemotherapy, or a person with terminal, end stage cancer, again...people who have NO immunity.".
My only question is that as my situation , said,CD4 380-390 , is that mean "  have literally NO immune system  " ?   Do I need test for 6 months ?

It will change, you'll never get the same numbers but they won't be far out of range. If you do it several times in one day, the numbers will all be different. Just be glad you don't have HIV.

woohoooooo ! ! !  do the happy dance...you dont have hiv and your test, at 100 days, PROVES this.

if you are having health concerns, work with your dr.  it's NOT hiv related.

You're very welcome and I'm sure that CD4 count will increase. The main issue here is that you don't have HIV.

You're welcome. If you are concerned about your CD4/CD8 results get them redone. Bloops happen all the time. I can't begin to tell you how many I have had. Make sure if you retest that you do it at apx the same time a day as when you first tested.

In my country , we usually do not have a private doctor . You have to go to a public hospital and not easy to see a same doctor every time .
I see many people in my country here ask the question about the CD4 count , because here is a doctor ( or maybe an expert in some way ) always said people need this test to make sure a conclusive result , we can find these every local forum .
I meet a doctor 2 days ago , she said it's must because the long time anxiety of HIV and maybe because I have a cold now .

A CD4 of 380 is very low but you don't have HIV but something else might be going on.Consult your doctor.
