To begin with, I am a heterosexual female. I have a new partner. I am very good about getting STI/HIV checks. Anyway, I have a new sexual partner. We both got tested together and use latex condoms. I have a few questions I need to get off of my chest.
1. Our HIV tests came out negative. I hadn't had previous exposure for about 9 months, so no uncertainty on my end. However, his last exposure was 4.5 weeks ago. I am not sure what kind of test we took, but it was at a low-cost clinic, so probably not a DUO. Can we trust his negative result?
2. He just came down with a flu about 5.5 weeks after his exposure. That would be too late for ARS, no? It lasted for 3 days.
3. We use condoms for ALL vaginal sex, but I may be afraid that one broke. I would probably have bits of the latex in my vagina wouldn't I? I've never had a condom break (to my knowledge), but one night after intercourse, I felt especially wet down there, but he didn't mention a condom breakage. Not sure if it happened.
4. I do give him unprotected oral sex. One time in particular, I had bit my cheek a few hours before the act. I was careful not to get pre-cum near the sore. Would this be a risk? Even with the small abrasion in my mouth?
Thanks for your help! I appreciate all comments.
