whats with the ringworm???

Why do some websites state ringworm is common in hiv? I think thats what i have and it has not responded to treatmeny. I have andn appointment with my pcp and i will have him take a look. This is the same doc who says i dont have hiv based on 6 week 1 day neg result and the fact he did a node check on me. So thw question is if ringworm is not a factor in hiv infection Then why do i keep seeing this posted on websites??? I am completly terrified to go test again.I will eventually when i think i can handle the result..This really sucks !!! so what are the chances a 6 week 1 day negative turning positive?? this rasgh deal is getting worse and i have done everything ,LAMISIL, HYDROCORTIZONE, DESENEX, TING SPRAY... HELP

Ringworm is a fungus infection. People with HIV when they have lower CD4s tend to have higher incidents of fungal infections. Ringworm is not specific to HIV. You can get ringworm from your pets.

I've convinced myself that I am HIV positive also, and am having my 6 week and 3 day test tomorrow. I am not ready to handle my result reguardless, so I am just taking it now to see. I
