nPEP prescription, When is earliest indicative test

Hi there, I am on n Post Exposure Prophylaxis (nPEP) following my exposure 17 days ago. I have to take them for 28 days. The anxiety is killing me. When is the earliest date I can take an HIV test. I am in South Africa one of the countries with the highest HIV infection rates in the world and PCR is allowed. Will PCR give me a good indication of my status? at how many days post exposure? SECONDLY when is the earliest for an Elisa TEST. Please respond to both the PCR and Elisa test question
