why me

Hi Dr, why is my hives bothering me? I have it for two years now. Im taking citirizine med to avoid the itch bt it doesnt help mch! m hoping each day it wl go away on its own bt for sme reason it cmes bck n d med gves me relief only for two days..i havent been for treatment. m rly scared tat I might have got a bad disease..i had unprotected sex n contracted gonorrhea n d hives started since then. I have testd for hiv n stds during the time I was having a flu n similar symptoms of hiv bt the test were done within two months n results came out negative! m jst worried  cos of the constant hives m experiencing n wndering if I rly do hv hiv nw after tat incident..i only want to knw whether hi virus can persistantly make a person breakout hives and other infections like m going thro nw..or not? n a clear definitn of the differnt stages of hiv?

Hives having nothing to do with HIV.  The rash associated with HIV does not itch.

hi teak, i have uploaded a photo of the hives i get on my thighs in my profile. this photo was taken just ten munites ago. it appears with mild itch. it goes away if i rub the area....please spare some time to see it and reply thank u

See your doctor about your hives, they have nothing to do with HIV.

Thats not the answer m lukng for! im also aware of the window period n may b smeday sn I wl do another test bt meantme I jst wnt smeone to answer me those questns!

To obtain a conclusive negative test result, you need to test 3 months post exposure.
