No. HIV doesn't remain structurally sound outside the body, so it's not going to be found in a tube of eye liner.
Thank you for replying so fast. It's a pencil with a cap on it, does that make a difference?
Her node is so big you can see it from just looking at her. I am so afraid I gave it to them bc of my eyeliner.
No difference.
Sounds like she's sick.
Are you sure? If I'm HIV + she wouldn't get it from using my eyeliner. And my little sister either. They all live in the same house. My sister and her share everything, clothes make up, etc. if she caught it then my sister will too and my father.
I can't live like this anymore. I can't even get out of bed, I just feel like my life has turned into darkness. I could take being infected but not my family. My family is my everything. I'd rather anything happen to me then the ones I love most.
YOU DONT HAVE HIV...NEVER HAD A RISK ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I know Lizzie, but I can't accept that until I have my 3 month test but I can't sleep or eat bc of what happened with this eyeliner thing. I just need to know if the scenario was present if the person was HIV+ and someone used their eyeliner would that transmit the virus to someone who didn't have it. Please just tell me would whatever body fluid be on the tip of the eyeliner spread to my mom and sister, are they safe? Would they get infected if I did have HIV.
Thank you, I really hope not.
What liquid would be on there. Just tears right? Bc in the morning when I put it on my eyes are really watery. But that's the only bodily fluid that'd be there right?
It doesn't matter what fluid is there because HIV is not going to remain structurally sound on an eyeliner pencil.
Thank you for clarifying. I really appreciate it
