Anyone with mitral valve prolapse???

Just diagnosed yesterday with mitral valve prolapse. FINALLY! I went to another cardio who said it was all anxiety and I knew something wasn't right...I actually could hear the murmur and click with my own stethocope at home, and I just wasn't convinced. My echo said I had trivial "insuffciency" aka regurgitation in my tricuspid valve but the rest of the echo including the valves themselves were said to be normal. My new cardio said that the prolapse can come and go and only about 50% of the time they can actually see it on the echo and this is why it didn't show up. I think my anxiety from all this is causing all my symptoms like shortness of breath, Pvcs, and chest pain. Although my doctor reassured me I am fine and will not die anytime soon, I am so petrified!!! I am only 23! It seems like the murmur is loud! I am really skinny, and thats why he said he could hear it. But he also said I am more tuned in to hearing it and thats why it seems so loud. Anyone out there have this and know if this is ok? I haven't slept in days. I had my echo in January, do you think it could have changed drastically in only 6 mths? Thank you for listening everyone! This forum has really saved me from serious anxiety sometimes!
