sudden loss of hearing and uncontrollable vision

My husband stated he had a weird experience that he thought he was going to die today. He was driving down the road when he suddenly felt like someone was squeezing his head then he suddenly lost his hearing and began to lose his vision,  his eyes began wondering and he couldn't control them. He slowly pulled off to the side of the road because he thought well this is how I am going to die. The back of his head started to burn and he stated he could actually feel the heat. After about 1 minute everything was restored. What causes this?

Absolutely! Grenslori is so right. This isn't something to wait and see if it happens again. The next time could be a full blow stoke. What he experienced is a warning. Take heed and don't delay. They can check in his eyes to look for bleeding too. That's what they did when I lost vision in my one eye for about 10 minutes.

Your husband needs to see a doctor. He may have had a TIA (Transient Ischemia Attack) which can be a precursor to a stroke. The occipital area of the brain is located at the base of the back of the head. Hearing and vision are the last things to go before a person passes out so your husband was smart to pull off the road. Have him see a doctor as soon as he can.
