Chest Pains

by TLC1968, Jan 30, 2008 07:29PM
My 19 year old son has been having chest pains. He is not overweight. Does not smoke. The pain is around the heart, but in different spots. He also has pain on the side and back. No Shortness of breath, and he gets them working or relaxing. The doctor listened to his heart, and asked a lot of questions. My son does drink coffee and soda. He thought the pain was to due to caffeine and stress. My son will go back for a follow up in 4 weeks. What should we ask the doctor, and would do you recommend? Any Advise? My son has never had high blood pressure, but this time it was 140/80. He was very nervous that something was wrong, and this may have triggered it.
