It may be an arrhythmia, and can be diagnosed by the use of a Holter monitor. If you indeed have an arrhythmia, which is a disturbance in the electrical system of the heart, this can usually be treated with an EP study and an ablation. This should cure the symptoms that you are having. You need to see an electrophysiologist, which is a heart rhythm specialist and who can diagnose and treat this problem.

So  would I need to wear a  Holter monitor for a yr? because it may not happen again for a yr or is there a test or something done in one day and that can tell me whats going on?
