Hey wingnutti,
It is hard to give you a definitive plan without reviewing all clinical details in person, but I can give you some helpful information.
FMD or fibromuscular dysplasia affects young women and is an arterial disorder. It can present as hypertension, strokes/ mini strokes or be asymptomatic.
The ideal group of doctors to follow this would be vascular medicine specialists. We have a great group of vascular specialists in Cleveland Clinic and you are welcome to seek an opinion here. Most patients if closely followed would do fine.
Hope that helps

Thank You for your reply. Your info is a good place to start. I'm not being closely followed at all unfortunately! Could this, by chance, be a form of Vascular Ehlors-Danlos Syndrome?
