I am a 62 year old male who has had high blood pressurePressure ulcer all my adult life. With medication, it stays around 120 over 70. (DiovanDiovan Diovan hct). At the Doctors office last week, my pressurePressure ulcer was 80 over 60 sitting. She asked me to stand and it was 60 over 48. Needless to say, I have been monitoring it closely. The time of day seems to make littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys differenc. It ranges from 130 over 85 to 80 over 55. Has anyone out there experienced such wild fluctuations? Thanks
Everyone I know, when they stand the blood pressurePressure ulcer goes up not down. The 60/48 is low. You may want to ask your doctor about this to see if you need a lower dose of medication or need to try a different blood pressurePressure ulcer medication. It is a problem when blood pressure is low and in the 40's is getting low. Once it gets very low, the liver can start shutting down, so it is important to have a good blood pressure without it being high enough to wear the heart muscle out. 120/72 is normal. People with heart disease usually want their blood pressure a little lower than normal. Have a serious talk with your doctor. There are a lot of other medications out there for blood pressure. Diovan is a good blood pressure medication, but maybe now that you are older it is to strong for you.
